The tears rolled from my eyes
So filled with joy
Never did I question it,
But the answer was clear

There must be a God for this joy to come
A race off emotion through my soul
My life had changed forever
Feeling dampness in my face

A speeding heart did race,
My breath was held for
nearly so long
Then I heard you cry
Looking at the moist eyes,

Mommy laying there
Hearing the noises you made
can’t help to let loose the tears
as the doctors put you in my arms
I held you for the first time today
